MEP Supports
MEP Supports (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing supports) are structural elements used to hold, anchor, and stabilize MEP systems in buildings. They ensure that pipes, ducts, conduits, and cable trays are safely and effectively mounted, avoiding mechanical stress and meeting building code requirements.

U Clamp:
A U Clamp is a type of mechanical fastener or bracket shaped like the letter “U”, commonly used to hold or secure cylindrical objects such as pipes, tubes, or rods to a surface or structure.

Hang Clamp:
A hang clamp (or hanging clamp) is a type of mechanical device used to support, suspend, or secure pipes, ducts, cables, or other objects from overhead structures like ceilings, beams, or trusses.

Teflon Tape
Teflon tape, also known as PTFE tape (Polytetrafluoroethylene tape) or plumber’s tape, is a non-adhesive tape used to seal pipe threads. It is widely used in plumbing and gas fitting to prevent leaks by creating a tighter seal between threaded pipe joints.
Types of MEP Supports
- Hangers & Clamps: Suspend piping from ceilings or beams.
- Shoe Supports: Maintain pipe position while allowing thermal expansion.
- Rollers & Guides: Enable controlled movement due to thermal expansion/contraction.
- Trapeze Hangers: Horizontal bars suspended by rods for air ducts.
- Angle Iron Frames: For heavy or large ducts.
- Vibration Isolators: Reduce noise and vibration transmission.
- Brackets & Trapeze: For horizontal runs.
- Strut Channels (Unistrut): Versatile framing systems for electrical raceways.
- Wall or Ceiling Anchors: For vertical or suspended mounting.
